Hey everyone, we're working on some upgrades to the account system that will eventually allow duplicates of usernames. With over 2 million players in the database nowadays it can be a pain for new players to find an available username, so with the new system all players will have a randomly generated set of 3 numbers attached to their name. Because these numbers may be hard to remember, as of this moment players can alternatively log in to their account using their email address. If you haven't already, we strongly recommend all players attach an email to their account for login security: you can check your account settings in the options window from the main menu. When the new system is finished you will be able to see your adjusted username with the numbers attached as well.

We've become aware of some problems with a recent patch to the overall ranking system, and are taking immediate steps to make major improvements. Firstly, we identified some issues with the way ranks are calculated, and we have prompted an immediate season reset to help get things back into place. We've also made several adjustments to our formula, and fixed some bugs, with the goal of helping players achieve higher ranks more quickly. We are also significantly softening our monthly reset, so that players will only drop partially in effective rank, rather than hard resetting to the center point.

We will be keeping a close eye on the result of these changes, and will make further adjustments or fixes as needed. Thank you for bearing with us, and happy climbing!

Hello again, as promised we have been keeping an eye on the ranking system, and have become aware of an exploit allowing players to achieve higher ranks than intended by continually creating new decks. We will be hotfixing an attempt to fix this exploit shortly. Because this exploit has significantly increased the ranking spread, we will be doing another reset as well to get things in order and ensure the remainder of the season remains competitive for everyone. Thank you for your patience as we swiftly work toward an ideal ranking system for the long term health of the game!
